I saw "The Corporation" recently. A GREAT MOVIE, every frickin American needs to GO OUT, and rent this MOVIE. Its jam pack full of information laying it on the line this system of creating corporations under the guise that its the right thing to do. When, it simply is NOT WORKING.

One point I found clearly sited the problem, is that employees of corporations, are required by law to do whatever is in the best interest of corporations, regardless of effects in society. Corporations are fucking monsters! They had this one guy working as a CEO for some oil company, and all these people protesting at HIS HOUSE calling him a murderer and such. The guy comes out and sits down with protesters to talk about what it is he actually does. And they both came to realize that it wasn't him that was the problem, it was the corporation. And the guy felt that he was in a position to do something good with his corporation, but because of his investors, he could only do so much. If he didn't make decisions based on profit needs of investors, he risks going to jail! That is a corporate rule, people working in corporations have to make decisions based on what is best for their investors. They could be the nicest people in the world, wanting to do good for the environment, etc, but, their decisions have a particular grid that they can't break out of.

Again, I say, CORPORATIONS ARE MONSTERS. Corporations are set up as being like a person in the sense of legalities. The corporation makes decisions, if it has legal trouble, the corporation has to deal with that. Corporations are like Frankenstein. In fact this movie makes that comparison, stating that corporations are basically insane people.

That said, lookee lookee at who is steering our government. It isn't people telling Bush what to do, Bush and the Republicans are funded by corporations. So, essentially, the investors in our government are a bunch of insane people. What are we going to do about this fucking problem?
